HILLIARD, Ohio -- First lady Laura Bush cautioned Wednesday that Americans discussing the war in Iraq _ especially politicians _ should be careful what they say because other countries are paying attention.

"The right to have these conversations is part of what makes our country great and our democracy strong. We must be mindful that people around the world are listening to these discussions," Laura Bush said at a suburban Columbus recreation center during a campaign appearance with Rep. Deborah Pryce.

"Responsible candidates understand that the men and women of our military are risking their lives for us, and that we must conduct our debate here at home in a way that does not jeopardize our troops in harm's way," she said, calling for "conversations conducted with civility and respect...."

I really wonder what laura thinks about when she's laying up in bed with the man who is directly responsible for the deaths, injury and maiming of over 1 million people? Or is she just too zoned on Xanax to think anything?

Lady, there ain't nothing we can say here that the military in Iraq and Afghanistan doesn't already know, long before anyone here knows about it. After all, they are there, we are here. See, if your husband and his buddies ever bothered to be soldiers, they'd know that they do talk to each other. They aren't the unfeeling robots that the bush administration thinks they are. The military knows what's going on around them.

Telling the world that your little georgie is a murderous sociopathic thug isn't giving up any secrets. Maybe you need to join your pal foley in rehab to get your head cleared up, get the drug induced fog out.
